A partner in Venable's Corporate Group, Peter Sternberg has an international transactional practice with a focus on cross-border acquisitions, dispositions, and joint ventures. Mr. Sternberg advises clients in both the United States and the European Union and across multiple industry sectors, including aerospace, luxury brands and other consumer goods, entertainment, food & beverage, health & beauty, industrial manufacturing, retail & wholesale, and transportation. He advises multinational conglomerates, and middle-market and smaller businesses.

In addition to his transactional practice, Mr. Sternberg's experience includes the development of U.S. export control/economic sanctions compliance programs for non-U.S. companies; he is also actively engaged in multijurisdictional disputes, including commercial arbitration and litigation, patent infringement, trade secret misappropriation, employment, and construction matters.

Mr. Sternberg has lived and worked extensively in the United States, France, and Italy. He is admitted to practice in New York and Paris and is professionally fluent in French and Italian.
