Peter S. Ecklund, Jr. is a member of Clark Hill's Banking & Finance Practice Group. Peter has substantial experience in municipal and legislative issues, specifically in public finance. His practice includes representing counties, cities, villages, townships, utility authorities, and tax-exempt organizations. He has been the lead attorney in over 300 municipal bond and note offerings. He works closely with his clients in ordinance, millage and legislative drafting.
Peter is active in political campaigns and was a nominee for the Michigan State Senate in 1994. He is a member of the National Association of Bond Lawyers and the State Bar of Michigan. Prior to joining Clark Hill, Peter was a shareholder in the firm Axe & Ecklund, P.C.
