Richard Gagnon is a counsel in the Tax Group. His practice focuses primarily on representing U.S. and foreign clients in federal tax disputes at the administrative level before the Internal Revenue Service and in federal trial and appellate courts.

Richard J. Melnick has developed a national practice emphasizing his talent for negotiation in such diverse areas as corporate mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and complex real estate transactions.

Richard Silpe, is resident in the Philadelphia office. He is a member of the firm’s Business Law Department and vice chair of the Tax Practice Group, focusing in federal and state income tax planning for corporations, partnerships.

Represented the Privatization Administration of the Republic of Turkey in its sale of a 23.9% stake in Türkiye Halk Bankası A.Ş. via a secondary public offering including a Rule 144A/Regulation S global equity offering.

Richard L. Fox concentrates his practice in the areas of estate planning, trusts and estates, philanthropic planning, and tax-exempt organizations, specializing in tax issues in these areas.

Richard Kornblith joined the Los Angeles office in 1995 as a partner holding a joint assignment to the business group; he is Head of the Tax Department and a member of the Leadership Committee in that office.
