Scott Shean serves as primary outside counsel to several public and private companies in various industries, including healthcare, technology and real estate. His practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance and capital markets, and he has lead the firm’s representation on numerous high profile and complex transactions. Mr. Shean has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions and capital markets transactions, representing both companies and investment banks. He also provides corporate governance advice to several companies for which he serves as primary outside counsel.

Mr. Shean’s representative clients include Actavis plc, Endologix Corporation, Questcor Pharmaceuticals, Skilled Healthcare Group, Vizio, Superior Energy Services, Patient Safety Technologies, Allergan, J.P. Morgan, Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs and Roth Capital.

National Law Journal recognized Mr. Shean for his "pivotal contribution" in their "Outside Lawyers to America's Outstanding General Counsel." (May 15, 2014) American Lawyer recognized Mr. Shean as the “Dealmaker of the Week” for his representation of Actavis in its acquisition of Warner Chilcott (May 27, 2013). The Daily Journal named Mr. Shean as a "Top 10 Lawyer in California" in 2013 and previously named him to the “20 to Watch Under 40” list, recognizing top attorneys under the age of 40 in California.
