Raymond E. Baltz Jr

Ray Baltz

is the practice leader of King & Spalding’s Global Corporate Department and a former member of the firm’s Policy Committee. Mr. Baltz represents private equity and hedge funds in a broad variety of matters, as well as corporations in strategic M&A transactions. Mr. Baltz also has substantial experience with joint ventures and strategic alliances, and corporate governance and securities matters.

Mr. Baltz received a Doctor of Jurisprudence, summa cum laude, from Boston University and a Master of Business Administration from Boston College. Mr. Baltz served as editor of the Boston University Law Review. He is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and the Atlanta Bar Association. Mr. Baltz has been recognized internationally by The Who’s Who of International M&A Attorneys, nationally by Legal 500 and Best Lawyers in America, and in the State of Georgia by Chambers and SuperLawyers. He recently was named Buyouts Lawyer of the Year in Georgia.
