Raymond L. Wheeler

Raymond Wheeler's practice involves all aspects of labor and employment law, including litigation before the federal and state courts and before administrative agencies such as the NLRB and the EEOC. Mr. Wheeler has handled numerous employment discrimination and wage/hour class actions for major corporations, such as UPS and Siemens, and has represented companies in hundreds of arbitrations, injunctive actions, wrongful discharge suits, trade secrets and employee raiding litigation, and administrative proceedings. He also has extensive experience in representing major corporations in collective bargaining, union organizing, and decertification efforts, and labor arbitrations. Mr. Wheeler also engages in a substantial amount of ongoing counseling concerning all aspects of employment law.

Mr. Wheeler was formerly the chair of Morrison & Foerster's Employment and Labor Group.

Mr. Wheeler has served as one of the senior editors of The Developing Labor Law, the standard treatise on the National Labor Relations Act that is used by labor law practitioners nationwide.

Mr. Wheeler is a Charter Fellow of the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers. He is a former management member of the governing Council of the Labor and Employment Law Section of the American Bar Association, and is a past Management Chair of the ABA Committee on Development of Law Under the NLRA. He also serves on the National Advisory Board of the Berkeley Journal of Employment and Labor Law.

Mr. Wheeler was recognized as one of the “Top Bay Area Employment Lawyers” by The Recorder.
