Rebecca (Becky) Jelinek practices in the area of commercial litigation. She has experience in all aspects of the litigation process, including case strategy, depositions, hearings, mediation, trial preparation, trial and appeals. Ms. Jelinek has first and second chaired both state and federal bench and jury trials, arbitration proceedings, and has also been significantly involved in appellate briefing and arguments at both the federal and state court levels. Some of her more significant areas of representation and experience include trust/fiduciary litigation, accounting malpractice, complex commercial contract disputes and related tort claims, claims of consumer protection act violations, ERISA litigation, and the defense/prosecution of claims by and against large financial services clients. Ms. Jelinek also has experience managing and overseeing attorney teams in litigation nationwide for a large financial services client.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Jelinek served as a judicial law clerk to the Hon. Tyler C. Lockett of the Kansas Supreme Court. She also served as a judicial law clerk to the Kansas Court of Appeals and during law school as a judicial law clerk to the Third Judicial District Court of Kansas.

Ms. Jelinek takes an active role in mentoring young attorneys and has served as a member of the Summer Internship Committee.
