Rich is a founding partner of the firm and co-chairs the Real Estate Department. He started his professional career by concentrating on real estate law. In addition to dealing with all types of real estate transactions and land use issues, his practice evolved into documenting joint ventures between institutional investors and developers. Consequently, he is intimately familiar with laws governing the formation, governance, and taxation of joint ventures, partnerships, and limited liability companies. He has represented lenders and borrowers in foreclosure actions, deed-in-lieu and forbearance agreements. Rich is a member of the Executive Committee.
