Rick Hutchison is the Executive Partner of Holland & Knight's West Palm Beach office and serves on the firm's Director's Committee. Mr. Hutchison’s practice focuses on contract and business torts litigation. He is experienced in commercial litigation, professional negligence, hotel owner-operator disputes, class actions and fiduciary litigation.

Mr. Hutchison has extensive jury trial experience in state and federal courts, including complex commercial matters. He has experience in arbitrating complex business disputes, including hotel management agreements and corporate ownership disputes. Mr. Hutchison has been teaching trial and deposition skills as a visiting instructor for the National Institute for Trial Advocacy (NITA) since 1997. He also conducted presentations on how to successfully try premium fraud cases and taught continuing legal education courses for The Florida Bar. Mr. Hutchison served on the Judicial Nominating Commission for the Fifteenth Judicial Circuit.

Mr. Hutchison started his legal career as an assistant state attorney in the Dade County State Attorney’s Office, Miami, Florida, under the Honorable Janet Reno.
