Richard DiSalvo is Assistant General Counsel in the Washington, DC office of BuckleySandler LLP, where he advises the firm on its risk management efforts and other firm matters. He has more than 30 years of legal experience in financial services and other industries and in a broad range of business issues and transactions.

Prior to joining BuckleySandler, Mr. DiSalvo served as a group domestic and international counsel and Vice President-Government-Affairs for a global credit card company. He was also the Vice President and General Counsel of global technology and energy companies Dominion Semiconductor LLC and Toshiba America Nuclear Energy Corporation. Mr. DiSalvo also served as Counsel at Buckley Kolar LLP, where he focused on credit card matters, and served a number of years as a legislative assistant in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Mr. DiSalvo received a J.D. from Georgetown University (cum laude), where he was an editor of the law review, and his B.A. from Williams College (cum laude).
