Richard I. Leher focuses his practice on the music industry as well as other areas of the entertainment business. He has extensive experience representing recording artists, record producers, music publishers, songwriters, personal managers, agents, record companies, publishing companies, various technology companies and executives.

Prior to joining the firm, he was an executive at Hollywood Records, a division of the Walt Disney Company, and at DreamWorks Records, where he was involved in all aspects of the legal, business, financial, and strategic operations of those companies. He also was a partner and head of the music department at Mitchell, Silberberg & Knupp LLP.
