Robert A. Acosta-Lewis

Rob's practice focuses on international matters for US and foreign based clients, including multijurisdictional mergers and acquisitions, privatization transactions, joint ventures, corporate reorganizations, intercompany asset transfers and internal corporate investigations.

Managing complex multijurisdictional transactions requires bringing the right experience to bear through a team-oriented approach, coordinating outside resources, and always remaining focused on the client's needs and expectations. Rob takes a comprehensive approach to coordinating and implementing all aspects of transactions, always keeping the business objectives at the forefront to ensure the client's goals are achieved. Rob's service-driven approach has earned him recognition as BTI Client All Star in 2008 and 2011, an award based exclusively on input from corporate counsel. Recognition as a BTI Client All Star is based on an evaluation of the following five factors: Client Focus, Exceptional Understanding of the Client's Business, Outstanding Results, Outsized Value and Legal Skills. Rob's objective is to deliver legal services demonstrating each of these factors in connection with each client assignment.
