Bob is also deeply involved in program and facilities access litigation filed under Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act, California's Unruh Civil Rights Act and Blind and Disabled Persons Act, and various federal and state regulations and building codes. He has acted as lead trial counsel in more than 30 wage and hour class actions challenging the employment practices of employers in the retail, banking, food service, and high-tech industries; and he has handled innumerable single plaintiff wrongful termination, employment discrimination, invasion of privacy, and other related claims.

For his public sector clients, Bob has acted as lead trial and appellate counsel in actions involving the Trial Court Employment Protection and Governance Act; the public's right of access to public records under California's Public Records Act; the amendments to Article I, section 3, of the California Constitution pursuant to Proposition 59; and program and facilities access under Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Rehabilitation Act, and the California and United States Constitutions.

Bob has authored several books and monographs on employment law and regularly contributes articles regarding recent developments on the subject to local and national publications. He is a popular speaker and frequently lectures to employer groups and at in-house workshops regarding state and federal employment and discrimination laws. He also counsels local, national, and international companies on establishing personnel policies and handbooks.
