Robert Rudnick has a broad-based tax practice involving transaction structuring, legal advice and client representation in tax controversy work at the administrative and litigation levels. The practice has been largely focused in the area of finance: meaning financial institutions, transactions and products, but includes major matters in a number of different industries (for instance, telecom and hospitality). He served many years as the head of Shearman & Sterling LLP’s Global Tax Practice.
