The complex matters he handles involve much more than lobbying efforts. He provides executives the steady advice and guidance expected of a general legal counsel, not just crisis and lobbying suggestions.

He has successfully handled issues involving local, state or federal government in regulatory issues, procurement bids and challenges, policy changes, funding requests, legislative matters, certification as a minority and women's business enterprise and federal and state wetlands issues. He has negotiated various contracts, permits, zoning changes, policy implementations and settlements with governmental agencies. Bob advocates a client's position while fashioning a solution to obtain governmental approval or support. When an agreement is not possible, he has represented both the public and private sectors in litigation of public laws and regulations.

Bob has worked successfully with scores of individuals, small firms and large corporations on a variety of issues, many of which involve government matters. Much of his success is fueled by the fact that he has worked extensively with government officials - and served in the office of the governor in Maryland as a senior advisor for three years.
