Robert E. Bishop

Robert Bishop is a partner in Goodwin Procter’s Technology Companies Group and is co-leader of the firm's FinTech Practice. He has more than 18 years’ experience representing emerging companies and venture capital and private equity firms. Mr. Bishop is a key contributor to Goodwin Procter’s Founders Workbench, an online resource for start-ups, emerging companies and the entrepreneurial community, and is a co-leader of the firm’s FinTech practice initiative. Mr. Bishop is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Fintech Sandbox, a Boston-based nonprofit whose mission is to promote entrepreneurship and innovation globally in the financial technology sector, as well as a member of the Board of Advisors of The Capital Network, a nonprofit that provides extensive educational programming and an engaged community to help early-stage entrepreneurs.
