Robert J. Finan concentrates his practice on transactional entertainment law. He regularly advises and counsels high-profile multi-platinum recording artists, record producers, personal managers, publishing companies and songwriters regarding legal and business transactions within the entertainment industries.
Robert has experience negotiating and drafting myriad agreements in the music industry, including recording agreements, consulting agreements, record producer agreements, record distribution agreements, music publishing agreements, record mixer agreements, side artist and guest artist agreements, management agreements, license agreements (including master-use licenses, "sampling" licenses, synchronization licenses, "mechanical" licenses, etc.), and motion picture soundtrack agreements.
Prior to joining the firm, Robert was Counsel at RED Distribution LLC. He also has experience as a Manager of Business Affairs at Sony Music.
