Bob has been active in firm leadership roles and has been a member of the firm’s Executive Committee and its Board of Partners. Bob is also the founder of the firm’s healthcare practice.

Bob does extensive work in the healthcare industry representing dialysis facilities, ambulatory surgical centers, hospitals and health systems, large medical practices and academic institutions. This representation has included acting as counsel on mergers and acquisitions, joint venture structuring, regulatory counseling and investigations, private equity financing and affiliation relationships.

Bob has been involved in various continuing legal education programs sponsored by such institutions as Northwestern University Law School, Loyola Center for Healthcare Law and the American Health Lawyers Association. He is a board member and past president of the Renal Physicians Association Research and Education Foundation. He is co-legal editor of Nephrology News and Issues and is a regularly featured speaker at national conferences on healthcare issues.
