Robert LeHane is a partner in the firm’s New York office. He focuses his practice on corporate restructuring, creditors’ rights and landlord representation in retail bankruptcy cases.
Mr. LeHane regularly represents shopping center owners and management companies, secured and unsecured creditors, creditors’ committees and lenders, within and outside of the bankruptcy context.
Mr. LeHane has significant experience representing shopping center landlords with multiple leases in retail bankruptcy cases across the United States. During the past five years, Mr. LeHane has taken a lead role in protecting landlord rights throughout the bankruptcy process by ensuring debtor compliance with leases and the bankruptcy code in connection with debtor-in-possession financing, lease auctions and Chapter 11 reorganization plans; by defending claim objections; and by participating in creditors’ committees on behalf of landlords.
