Dinsmore & Shohl welcomes Robert L. McIntyre to the firm’s Lexington Office. McIntyre will practice out of the firm’s Corporate Department.

McIntyre brings a wealth of experience to Dinsmore gained from his over 40 years practicing law. His addition provides greater depth to the firm’s Energy and Natural Resources practices and offers enhanced services to our clients. Throughout his career, McIntyre’s practice has covered Energy, General Corporate, Mergers and Acquisitions, Start Ups, Compliance, Litigation Management, International Corporate, Commercial Transaction Structure and Negotiation. McIntyre has served as Managing Partner and Cofounder of the law firm Breeding, McIntyre and Cunningham.

Prior to founding his own firm, McIntyre worked in the oil and gas industry. He spent 8 years at Transco Exploration Company and Transco Energy Company serving in various roles, including Vice President and General Counsel of Transco Exploration. He also worked at The Superior Oil Company and Occidental Petroleum Inc.

McIntyre also founded Blue Grass Angels Ventures, the first organized start up venture in Kentucky. He earned his J.D. from the University of Houston, Bates College of Law and his B.S. from University of Oklahoma.
