Robin Brewer’s practice focuses on representing technology companies in patent litigation before the U.S. federal district courts, the Federal Circuit, the International Trade Commission, and the Patent Trial and Appeal Board. Her broad background in engineering science informs her representation of leading hardware and software companies.

Experienced in all aspects of patent litigation, Ms. Brewer’s cases have involved a broad range of technologies, including digital wallets, network security, video compression technology, database systems, Internet advertising, email systems, smartphone applications, and online marketplaces. Ms. Brewer has been recognized as a “Rising Star” by Northern California Super Lawyers since 2013.

Ms. Brewer earned her J.D. with honors from The George Washington University Law School. As a Fulbright scholar, she earned a D.E.A. (Master’s equivalent) in mechanical engineering from the Institut National des Sciences Appliquées (INSA-Lyon) in France, defending her thesis in French. She holds a B.E. in biomedical engineering from the Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth College, and an A.B. cum laude in engineering science, also from Dartmouth.
