Rose L. Standifer is an associate in the Cooley Business department and is resident in the Palo Alto office. She initially joined the Emerging Companies practice group in 2004 and, after several years practicing environmental and alternative energy law, rejoined the Firm in 2011.

Ms. Standifer practices general corporate and securities law, representing both emerging and public companies in a variety of matters, including venture capital financings, public offerings, mergers and acquisitions and SEC reporting and compliance.

Ms. Standifer counsels companies in a wide range of industries, including clean technologies, life sciences, software and telecommunications. She is also a member of the Clean Energy and Technologies practice group and has extensive experience in environmental and alternative energy matters.

Ms. Standifer received her law degree, cum laude, from Georgetown University Law Center in 2004 and received her BA in Political Science from Stanford University in 1999.

Ms. Standifer is a member of the State Bar of California.
