Mr. Smith dedicates his practice to a wide array of investment management, private investment fund and other financial services matters. He focuses his work on the establishment and ongoing management of a variety of private investment vehicles, including hedge funds and real estate funds. Mr. Smith has experience advising private investment funds, registered investment advisers, and other financial institutions. He represents investment management firms in connection with both acquisition transactions and regulatory compliance. Mr. Smith also counsels clients in connection with mergers, reorganization transactions and other corporate related matters.
