Ruben Garcia advises public and private companies on a broad range of capital markets and governance matters.

Ruben's transactional practice includes representing issuers, underwriters, and selling stockholders in public and private offerings of equity and debt securities. His advisory practice focuses on advising senior management and boards of directors on corporate governance and compliance matters, including the development and implementation of corporate governance programs; securities laws, rules, and regulations, including the Sarbanes-Oxley and Dodd-Frank Acts; Exchange Act reporting matters; and investor relations.

Prior to joining Jones Day in 2012, Ruben led more than 30 capital markets transactions raising proceeds in excess of $10 billion and worked on mergers and acquisitions transactions for private and public companies.

Ruben is a member of the State Bars of California and Texas.
