Ruth Espey-Romero represents governments, corporations and individuals in the United States, Middle East, Latin America and Europe. She focuses her practice on international and commercial law and strategic problem solving. Ruth provides advice and counsel to her clients on inbound investments, international joint ventures, concession agreements, financing, licensing, nonprofit activities, and know-how in working with the U.S. government. Ruth advises international clients on best practices for sales of assets, interests in private companies and investments in the U.S.

Prior to joining the firm, Ruth lived and worked in Europe, the Middle East and Latin America for more than two decades. Her experience includes operating a private practice in Central and South America, acting as Senior Counsel for the Federal Loan Mortgage Corporation in Washington, D.C., and serving as Deputy General Counsel for the Multinational Forces and Observers in Italy, Egypt and Israel. These past experiences enable Ruth to provide strategic insight when counseling her clients.
