Ryan C. Day

Mr. Day is a partner on the firm’s Bankruptcy and Creditors’ Rights team. He regularly represents creditors’ committees, debtors, equipment lessors, financial institutions, landlords, and trustees in asset sales, executory contract disputes, avoidance litigation, claims litigation, lien priority disputes, plan confirmation proceedings, successor liability disputes, and stay relief litigation before bankruptcy courts, and in creditors’ rights litigation in state and federal district courts.

Mr. Day also represents financial institutions and insurance providers in the defense of class action and single-plaintiff litigation matters involving federal consumer protection statutes such as the Fair Credit Reporting Act, Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, and Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act, as well as the defense of matters involving lien priority issues and state consumer credit laws.
