Ryan Nier is an associate in the Litigation practice of Paul Hastings and is based in the firm’s San Francisco office. His practice focuses on intellectual property, privacy, and data security.

Mr. Nier's practice focuses on complex business and technology litigation and trial practice, with an emphasis on intellectual property disputes, privacy and data security law, trade secret litigation, and competitive business torts. He has experience obtaining and opposing demands for prejudgment remedies, including temporary restraining orders and preliminary injunctions. Mr. Nier has successfully briefed and argued appeals before the Ninth Circuit, and recently second-chaired a Section 337 Investigation Proceeding before the International Trade Commission.
