Ryan represents clients in connection with a broad variety of corporate transactions, focusing his practice on mergers and acquisitions. His M&A experience includes representing private equity clients in connection with leveraged buyouts, acquisitions of minority interests, recapitalizations and exit transactions. In addition, he has advised public and private companies in connection with asset sales, carve-out transactions, joint ventures and cross-border transactions. His experience also includes M&A transactions involving hedge fund and other alternative asset managers, including hedge fund seeding transactions.

In addition to his M&A experience, Ryan has also represented clients in connection with capital markets transactions, including initial public offerings, and general corporate governance matters.

Prior to joining Andrews Kurth LLP, Ryan worked in the New York and Hong Kong offices of Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP.
