Samson O. Asiyanbi

Samson’s practice focuses on internal investigations, government investigations, and related civil actions. He has represented both companies and individuals in antitrust investigations relating to price fixing, complementary bids, and market allocation; in pharmaceutical and device investigations relating to kickback, off-label promotion, misbranding, fraud, and other practices in marketing or selling drugs or devices; and in other investigations relating to bribery or under the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.

Samson also has experience conducting internal investigations and counseling companies on measures to strengthen their compliance program. He has represented both individual and corporate clients before the Department of Justice and other governmental agencies, as well as in preparation for grand jury hearings.

In law school, Samson was a member of the California Law Review and the Senior Articles Editor (2006-07) for Berkeley Journal of African-American Law & Policy. From 2008 to 2010, Samson was a fellow at the Equal Justice Initiative in Montgomery, Alabama, where he represented indigent clients on appeal and in civil rights litigations. He was resident in the Washington, D.C., office of Hogan Lovells from 2010 to 2012.
