Samuel Dewey is an associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. He is currently practicing in the firm’s Litigation Department. He has represented clients before federal appellate and trial courts, and federal agencies, in matters involving administrative law, constitutional law, federal preemption, and the False Claims Act. Mr. Dewey also has experience in white collar defense and investigations and public policy, having represented clients before the United States Congress and executive branch agencies.
Mr. Dewey received his law degree in 2009 from the Harvard Law School, where he served as a senior editor of the Journal of Law and Public Policy. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Dewey graduated summa cum laude from Brandeis University, where he majored in Politics.
Mr. Dewey is admitted to practice law in Maryland and the District of Columbia.
