Samuel M. Ofsevit is a partner in the Real Estate Practice at Tarter Krinsky & Drogin LLP. He represents developers and entrepreneurs in sales and acquisitions and Section 1031 tax-deferred exchanges of office buildings, multi-family and mixed use properties, net leased properties, shopping centers, vacant land and development rights and purchases of commercial loans. He represents borrowers in financing transactions, including permanent and construction mortgage loans, securitized and conduit loans and workouts, and mezzanine loans.

With over 30 years of real estate transactional experience, Sam brings a deep understanding of the industry to better structure and expedite transactions.

Sam assists landlords in preparing and negotiating triple net leases and leases of offices, retail space in mixed-use buildings, shopping centers and free-standing retail properties, and tenants in individual leases.

He represents private non-institutional lenders in commercial mortgage lending. Sam also prepares and negotiates organizational documents for corporations, partnerships, joint ventures and limited liability companies.

Prior to joining Tarter Krinsky & Drogin LLP, he was a partner at Phillips Nizer LLP.
