An employment law specialist for over 20 years, Sandy regularly counsels employers on all aspects of employment law, from managing the hiring process to discipline and discharge, drafting employment agreements and employee handbooks to advice on wage and hour disputes, and conducting harassment investigations to assuring compliance with state and federal employment laws.
Sandy represents clients before state and federal courts and before agencies, including the MCAD (Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination), the EEOC (Equal Employment Opportunity Commission), and the state’s Attorney General’s offices. She also advocates for clients in alternative dispute resolution forums including mediation and arbitration.
Prior to joining MBBP, Sandy was Of Counsel at Nixon Peabody LLP and was previously an employment law associate at Bingham McCutchen LLP, where she specialized in management-side employment law.
