Sandra Z. Zayac is a Partner in the Corporate Practice Group.

Ms. Zayac concentrates her practice in public finance. She has counseled clients in public finance transactions as issuer's counsel, bond counsel, underwriter's counsel, credit enhancer's counsel and purchaser's counsel in industries such as higher education, healthcare, nonprofit entities, transportation, solid waste management and local government. Ms. Zayac has also represented local issuers in connection with the issuance of general obligation bonds, revenue bonds, bank qualified bonds, 501(c)(3) bonds and tax anticipation notes. She has extensive experience regarding economic development and incentives in the State of Georgia.

Ms. Zayac also serves on the Board of Trustees of the DeKalb Medical Foundation and served on the Board of Directors of the DeKalb Library Foundation (2008-2014). She also currently serves on the community service program committee for Leadership DeKalb.

Ms. Zayac’s pro bono activities have included providing general corporate advice to the DeKalb Library Foundation, representing a minor child before the Fulton County Juvenile Court for early intervention and education issues, preparing wills and qualified income trusts for low income individuals and she worked to secure a Tax Allocation District grant for the Southern Christian Leadership Conference. Before attending law school, Ms. Zayac served for three years as a commercial lender and bank officer with Whitney National Bank.
