Sara E. Hoffman is an associate in Margolis Edelstein’s Employment and Labor Law group. Her practice focuses on representation of employers in a variety of litigation matters including sexual harassment, race, national origin, religion, disability and age discrimination cases as well as other state law and constitutional claims. She also counsels employers on matters such as employment policies and handbooks, employment contracts, workplace discrimination and other employment issues

While at Villanova University School of Law, Sara served as Vice President of the Student Bar Association, Co-Chairperson of the 3L Legacy program, a representative on the Dean’s Student Advisory Committee, and Business & Special Projects Editor for the Villanova Environmental Law Journal. The Law Journal published her case note, “A Greenhouse Gas Chain Reaction: The D.C. Circuit Warms Up the EPA’s Regulatory Authority in Coalition for Responsible Regulation v. EPA.”

As a certified legal intern in the Villanova Civil Justice Clinic, Sara represented clients in a variety of civil matters. She previously served as a law clerk for the Pennsylvania Attorney General Bureau of Consumer Protection and with the labor law group of a professional sports league in New York.

Prior to law school, Sara graduated with honors from Villanova University and worked in the financial services industry as a Certified Public Accountant at Deloitte & Touche in Philadelphia. In this role, she worked as a Senior Audit Assistant with the Audit & Enterprise Risk Services group, specializing in audits of investment management clients.
