Sara E. Rowe

Sara Rowe is an associate in the Palo Alto office of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, where she specializes in Internet strategy and litigation, including issues relating to privacy and intellectual property law.

Prior to joining the firm, Sara worked at eBay, Inc., where she was a corporate law fellow. In this role, she worked on privacy, copyright, trademark, and antitrust matters and played a key role in developing the company's social media policy and practices.

During law school, Sara participated in the Stanford Center for Internet and Society Cyberlaw/IP Clinic, and was a summer clinic student in the Cyberlaw Clinic at Harvard Law School's Berkman Center for Internet and Society. She later held a position as a research scholar with CodeX, the Stanford Center for Legal Informatics, where she conducted research into the role of private ordering in the developing digital copyright arena.

While pursuing her B.A. from Wesleyan University, Sara studied at Reid Hall in Paris and at the Université de Paris XII. From 2008-2009, Sara held a French Government Teaching Fellowship in Cholet, France.
