Sara K. Thompson
concentrates her practice on products liability litigation, with an emphasis on representing manufacturers of medical devices, pharmaceuticals and other consumer products, in litigation in state and federal courts nationwide. Sara has experience managing individual, nationwide and mass tort litigation matters involving a variety of medical devices including neurostimulation devices, implantable cardiac devices, intrathecal pain pumps, surgical tools and implants, orthopedic implants, as well as prescription pain, antibiotic, anti-convulsant, anti-nausea and anti-depressant medications. Sara also regularly counsels manufacturers regarding such pre-litigation matters as review and drafting of appropriate warning language for product labeling and manuals, Consumer Products Safety Commission compliance, and other product recall and reporting issues. In addition, Sara defends medical providers in complex medical malpractice cases in Georgia.
Prior to joining the firm, Sara spent four years as a litigation associate with two prominent law firms in Boston, Massachusetts.
