Sarah Franklin has extensive experience defending government investigations and related civil litigation, with a particular emphasis on representing life sciences companies and executives. She has defended numerous criminal and civil enforcement actions by the Department of Justice, HHS OIG, FDA, and state Attorneys General. She also has significant experience in congressional inquiries and whistleblower lawsuits.

In addition to her white collar practice, Ms. Franklin counsels life sciences companies on enforcement risks and compliance. She has significant experience in connection with HHS OIG Corporate Integrity Agreements.

Ms. Franklin also regularly handles internal investigations for a broad range of clients in and outside of the life sciences industry on issues including securities violations, government contracting, and the FCPA.

Prior to entering private practice, Ms. Franklin investigated and prosecuted consumer protection violations for the Federal Trade Commission, including scams based on novel uses of Internet technologies.
