Scott D. Richburg is a partner and litigation lawyer with Foley & Lardner LLP. Mr. Richburg’s practice includes all aspects of complex commercial and products liability litigation. In particular, his commercial practice involves state and federal class action litigation, including antitrust, consumer rights, and securities litigation representing corporations, boards of directors, minority shareholders, and individuals, SEC enforcement matters, and shareholder derivative actions. He is chair of the Litigation Department of the Jacksonville and Tallahassee offices and a member of the Business Litigation & Dispute Resolution and Securities Enforcement & Litigation Practices.

Mr. Richburg also represents clients in the real estate lending, real estate development, construction and manufacturing industries. His litigation work encompasses virtually all aspects of these industries, including loan document disputes, lender liability disputes, commercial mortgage foreclosures, commercial lease disputes, premises liability, construction contract problems, and construction defect litigation, as well as bankruptcy issues relating to the foregoing.

Mr. Richburg’s products liability and personal injury practice focuses on representing businesses from manufacturers of heavy equipment to national retailers in defense of claims relating to wrongful death and serious bodily injury in cases pending across the United States.
