Scott L. Brandman — hiring partner of the New York office – offers state and local tax services to multinational companies. He is a member of various Firm committees including the New York Management Committee, the State and Local Tax Subpractice Group and the M&A Tax Subpractice team. Mr. Brandman also serves as chair of the North America Hiring Committee, and is the Global State and Local Tax coordinator for the Baker & McKenzie E-Commerce task force. He is actively involved in the state taxation and transfer pricing sections of the American Bar Association, as well as the New York University State and Local Tax study group.

Mr. Brandman represents US and foreign multinationals in tax controversies and litigation before state administrative bodies and courts, and advises companies on ways to reduce their tax rate through effective state tax planning.
