Scott Jarvis is an associate in the firm’s Construction and Government Contracts Group. As part of his construction practice, Scott represents owners and contractors at the state and federal level in both construction litigation and transactional matters. Scott has substantial experience in litigating complex claims including construction defects involving multiple parties and has practiced in multiple federal and state jurisdictions. In addition, Scott maintains an active government contracts practice, representing and advising clients in various local, state and federal procurement regulations as well as obtaining successful results in bid protests and procurement appeals. Scott also advises clients concerning federal investigations involving the False Claims Act.

Scott is active within the area of energy infrastructure, with a particular focus on renewable energy projects. Scott advises clients on recent developments within state and federal legislation involving solar and other renewable sources, and has experience addressing contractual elements commonly encountered in the Solar Industry.

Scott received his J.D. from the University of Tennessee College of Law, summa cum laude, where he was a member of the National Trial Team. Upon graduation, Scott served as a judicial clerk to Judge Jacqueline Bolton, on the Tennessee Circuit Court.
