SCOTT T. EARLE is a Senior Associate at Cohen Seglias Pallas Greenhall & Furman PC and a member of the Firm’s Commercial Litigation, Construction, and Financial Services Groups. Scott practices all aspects of civil and commercial litigation, concentrating on construction, asbestos defense and bankruptcy litigation before state and federal courts, as well as arbitration forums in the jurisdictions of Delaware, New Jersey and Pennsylvania where he is admitted.

Scott’s commercial and civil litigation representations include owners, developers, general contractors, subcontractors, architects, and material suppliers in contract disputes, bond claims, collections, and mechanics’ liens. Scott also represents landowners in asbestos defense litigation.

Before the Federal District Bankruptcy Courts where he is admitted, Scott’s representations include general creditors, defendants in preference litigation, plaintiffs seeking relief from stay, and commercial landlords in disputed lease rejections.

In addition to practicing law, Scott serves as a military reservist. In 2006, he deployed to Iraq as a member of the New Jersey Army National Guard where he served as the Maintenance Control Officer for the 1-167th Cavalry, 1st Brigade, 34th Infantry Division. Presently, he serves as a Deputy Judge Advocate General for the Delaware Army National Guard. Prior to joining Cohen Seglias, he worked for a large, Mid-Atlantic based law firm where he was a member of the firm's litigation and corporate departments. Additionally, he also served as a Deputy Attorney General for the Delaware Department of Justice prosecuting criminal matters.

While in law school, Scott was the Lead State Constitutional Law Editor for the Rutgers Law Journal. After graduating from law school, Scott served as the law clerk for the Honorable Joseph F. Lisa, New Jersey Superior Court, Appellate Division.
