Scott Reid, a member of Cozen O'Connor's Commercial Litigation Group, was honored by the Black Law Students Association of Widener University School of Law at its 2nd Annual Trailblazers and Pioneers Banquet.

Reid joined the firm in 2002 and is co-chair of the firm's Diversity Committee and a member of the firm's Hiring Committee. He is also a cabinet member and member of the Board of Governors of the Philadelphia Bar Association, as well as former chair of the Diversity in the Profession Committee and the bar association's first diversity chair. He currently sits on the board of directors of the Philadelphia Diversity Law Group, and formerly served as president of the Barrister's Association of Philadelphia. In the recent past, Reid has been honored by the National Bar Association/IMPACT, Kappa Alpha Psi West Chester Alumni Chapter's Alumni Achievement Award, the Barristers Association of Philadelphia, The Philadelphia Tribune and West Chester University.
Reid earned his law degree from Widener in 2002, where he served as president of the Black Law Students.
