Sean Simmons is a senior associate in the firm’s Litigation & Trial Practice Group and a member of the Products Liability Group. He focuses his practice on complex litigation matters with a focus on class actions and products liability. Mr. Simmons has litigated numerous complex disputes, including consumer, insurance, mass tort, toxic tort, environmental class actions, business tort litigation and products liability matters in both state and federal courts across the country.

Mr. Simmons graduated, with honors, from the University of North Carolina School of Law where he was a member of the North Carolina Law Review and was a recipient of the Gressman-Pollitt Award for appellate oral advocacy. He received his B.S. in legal studies from the United States Air Force Academy in 1995 and his M.A. in managerial economics from the University of Oklahoma in 2002.

Prior to attending law school, Sean served seven years on active duty in the U.S. Air Force as a navigator in various aircraft and positions. He attained the rank of captain and concluded his Air Force career as the Chief of Wing Flight Safety for more than 2000 personnel.
