Shelley G. Hurwitz is a partner in the Litigation Section of Holland & Knight's Los Angeles office. Ms. Hurwitz has extensive experience defending product manufacturers against individual and class action claims for personal injuries, property damage and alleged violations of consumer protection statutes. She has represented defendants in numerous toxic exposure cases, and claims under California's Proposition 65. In addition to her product liability practice, Ms. Hurwitz has also defended consumer class actions alleging violation of privacy laws and statutory violations, such as unlawful call recording. She has extensive knowledge in representing clients in claims based upon internet content.

Ms. Hurwitz has been involved in a variety of business litigation, including securities broker/dealer disputes, disputes involving professional athletes, contract disputes, employment disputes and landlord/tenant issues. She also has experience litigating land valuation issues in eminent domain proceedings, and litigating various tort claims, including nuisance, fraud and interference with business relations.
