Shokoh H. Yaghoubi is an associate in Morgan Lewis's Global Outsourcing, Technology, and Commercial Transactions Practice. Ms. Yaghoubi's practice focuses primarily on technology-based transactions, including technology and content licensing, transfers of intellectual property rights, joint development and joint venture arrangements, distribution and sales arrangements, supply, service and outsourcing agreements, manufacturing and foundry relationships, and cross-border licensing and strategic alliances. Ms. Yaghoubi regularly counsels clients on intellectual property strategy and intellectual property issues in connection with mergers, acquisitions, initial public offerings, and financings.
Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Ms. Yaghoubi was a consulting attorney in the licensing and technology group of a Fortune 100 technology company. While there, she drafted and negotiated technology licensing agreements, assisted in revising template agreements, and advised clients on confidentiality matters and obligations.
Ms. Yaghoubi earned her J.D. from the University of California, Davis School of Law in 2005. She earned her B.A., cum laude, in English from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2002. She is fluent in English and Farsi.
