Stacey Mayer is an associate in Manatt’s Advertising, Marketing & Media practice and is based in the firm’s New York office. She routinely assists clients in initiating and defending challenges to advertising claims and marketing practices, and she has experience with disputes filed in court and before the Council of Better Business Bureaus’ National Advertising Division, as well as regulatory investigations. Ms. Mayer’s work also includes counseling clients on a wide range of advertising and marketing matters; most notably, she provides guidance on the complex legal and regulatory issues that arise when structuring multiplatform digital promotional campaigns. When companies are looking to launch new products or services, Ms. Mayer advises clients on privacy-related issues surrounding the use of consumers’ personally identifiable information and helps structure privacy policies and Web site terms and conditions. She also has a broad range of transactional experience and handles licensing and sponsorship agreements for clients across a variety of industries.

Prior to joining Manatt, Ms. Mayer was an associate in an international law firm where she advised clients on intellectual property, advertising, and marketing-related matters.
