Stan is a partner in the Financial Institutions Group with extensive experience providing strategic counsel to banks on compliance and regulatory issues, general banking corporate matters, secured lending, distressed loans and assets, failed bank receiverships and note sales. Stan's background includes experience as an attorney with the FDIC, sitting on the board of a financial institution, and representing banks in private practice for over 10 years. He has gained a unique perspective which banks rely on to navigate today's complex regulatory environment. Prior to joining Barack Ferrazzano, Stan was a partner in the Chicago office of a large regional law firm.

In addition to his regulatory knowledge, Stan has practical experience gained as a prosecutor and a defense attorney with the United States Navy Judge Advocate Corps.
