Stefan Mallen has a national practice that includes litigating complex product liability, commercial litigation, and class action matters in state and federal courts across the country, including in Multi-District Litigation (“MDL”) and mass tort proceedings. He has significant experience litigating in some of the most difficult venues locally including the City of St. Louis, Missouri, St. Clair County, Illinois, and Madison County, Illinois.

Mr. Mallen has extensive experience in pharmaceutical, medical device, and automotive litigation, and represents several Fortune 500 manufacturers.

Mr. Mallen represents clients in all aspects of the litigation process. He is or has been part of multiple pharmaceutical product trial teams in litigation relating to the defense of medicines that treat epilepsy, osteoporosis, arthritis, infections, stroke, and birth control. He has also been on trial teams for automotive and consumer products, and has tried a case on behalf of a national department store owner/operator.

Mr. Mallen has substantial experience in all aspects of pre-trial and post-trial litigation, including case strategy and management, pre and post-trial briefing, written discovery, depositions, hearings, expert witness selection and preparation, trial preparation, and mediations. He also regularly works with medical and technical expert witnesses to develop the defense of his cases.
