Stephanie Carman's practice focuses on complex litigation and health care related matters. Stephanie regularly represents corporate, governmental, and individual clients in federal and state courts at both the trial and appellate levels. She also advises health industry clients on the defense of False Claims Act litigation and on regulatory compliance matters. She has extensive experience working with regulators and clients, including hospitals and home health agencies on the submission and approval of all required federal, state, and local notifications for changes of ownership and changes of information.

Stephanie has been recognized as a leading lawyer by several industry publications and organizations. She has been named a "Rising Star" by Super Lawyers since 2009, and has been awarded several accolades for her contribution to her profession including the Cystic Fibrosis 40 Under 40 Outstanding Lawyers of Miami-Dade, the University of Miami School of Law Alumni Leadership Award, and the Florida Bar Young Lawyers Division Lynn Futch Most Productive Lawyer Award. She has also been nominated for the American Bar Association's Young Lawyers Division National Outstanding Young Lawyer Award. In addition to these, while Stephanie was President, the Dade County Bar Association Young Lawyers Section received numerous recognitions and grants from the Florida Bar's Young Lawyers Division's Diversity Award, Service to the Bar Award for Achievement, Florida Bar Holiday in January grant, Morning/Afternoon at the Courthouse grant and Florida Bar affiliate Outreach Grant for homeless outreach programming. The Section also received an ABA Young Lawyers Division Award of Achievement for its Law Week events.
