Stephanie West is a member of the Financial Services Client Service Group and the Real Estate Capital Markets Practice Team.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. West spent several years on the business side of the CMBS servicing platform at a major financial institution where she led a team specializing in CMBS loan modifications. Prior to joining the CMBS business group, Stephanie also spent several years as in-house counsel to the CMBS loan originations and serving teams. Stephanie has expertise in cash management structures and has given several presentations on cash management documentation and implementation of springing cash management triggers on new and modified loans.
Stephanie provides legal counsel to CMBS asset management teams on compliance with the servicing standard, pooling and servicing agreements, loan defaults, loan covenants and litigation risk, and serves as counsel for the Master Servicer on loan assumptions, permitted and non-permitted transfers and consent issues.
Ms. West earned her B.A. from the University of California-Irvine and her Juris Doctorate from the University of San Francisco School of Law.
